We are launching our latest digital experience ‘The Story of Helen’ at this year’s Medieval Pageant in Canterbury.

Taking place on Saturday 7th July, the Pageant will include the launch of History of Place’s new digital experience ‘The Story of Helen’.  This tells the story of disabled people in Medieval England through the history of Maison Dieu, one of the sites researched as part of our project. You can follow the story through audio, BSL and subtitles as well as a visual experience.

Come and visit the History of Place team at The Learning Lab in The Beaney House of Art & Knowledge from 11am – 3pm to immerse yourself online in Helen’s experience of the world, find out more about the project and unleash your digital monk!
