If you would like to be part of a groundbreaking disability, heritage and community project then get in touch to find out more. You will:

  • Receive Oral History training
  • Be part of a team collecting stories and opinions
  • Contribute to an important national project
  • Receive support in researching and archiving

Accentuate History of Place have been researching the Guild of the Brave Poor things in Bristol and have created an exhibition, a game and a film from the findings.

Collect memories and stories of disability history in Bristol.

Help people share their thoughts on issues around disability.

Create a legacy for the future.

If you join the project, you will train with a professional from the Oral History society on January 30th. You’ll then be part of a team based mainly at the M shed Bristol. The project will end in April 2018.

The work will be flexible and we will endeavour to reach all access needs. Please get in touch with any requirements.
