VocalEyes is seeking a dynamic individual to help us grow blind and partially sighted audiences for arts and heritage. The post holder must be passionate about access and inclusion, and arts and heritage, and have lived experience of the disabling barriers experienced by blind and partially sighted people in everyday life. They should be an excellent communicator (verbal, listening and written) and a strategic thinker that takes the lead on this important area and contributes to the overall development of the organisation.
Previous experience within the arts or heritage sector is not essential, but we do expect the post-holder to have had some experience in a marketing or audience development role. The salary will start at £26,745 per annum, with employer contribution of 7.5% to a personal pension scheme. The salary will be increased following successful completion of an agreed training and development programme through the Arts Marketing Association.
You can find full details of the post and how to apply on the VocalEyes website. The deadline for applications is 2nd November at 5pm.
